The answer is no. Barbados has implemented a government levy car rental tax of $2.50usd plus tax per day for each rental. The total cost will be capped at a maximum of 7 days for each rental.

What is the speed limit?

In Barbados the general speed limit in built up areas are 60km/h whereas highways are 80km/h. Drivers should always follow the posted speed limit sign and adjust their speed according to the road and weather conditions. You can drive at 60kph and remain vigilant for all visible road signs

What type of fuel does the vehicle carry?

The vehicle carries standard fuel(gasoline/regular petrol) unless stated otherwise. A customer service representative would always advise about the fuel during rental process.
